I HATE 4-MIX with a flaming purple passion! Leave it to a German engineer to come up with an engine design that lubricates the bottom end on the EXHAUST STROKE!!!!! (Ok I know it lives on the intake stroke, but the port into the crankcase is opened on the exhaust stroke as well and all of those hot gasses and burned hydrocarbons are free to mingle with the lube in the bottom end, rediculous). Have you ever had one apart for a seal job, they are nasty, sludged up bad every time. They eat bearings like candy, had a landscaper last summer have three BR600s blow a main bearing in a month. Never had one apart that didn't need the cam replaced, some the lobe was wiped so bad I am amazed that it would run at all. When I worked for the Stihl dealership I lost track of how many came in with a dropped valve and a great big hole in the piston. And while we are on the topic what were they thinking making a fan that SCREWS DIRECTLY TO THE CRANKSHAFT and has to be removed to get to the engine mounting bolts???!!! Why not use a hub that will pass through the fan housing and four mounting screws like every other manufacturer? Those fans tighten as they run, I have broke two flywheels, snapped three cranks, and knocked a hole in a piston trying to get them off in the past!
Reseals I have done weren't that bad......mainly cause outta the hundreds we have sold...I've only have to reseal One. And that was a kombi unit. The blowers we have sold have not come back with any problems yet. And the guys that have purchased them are commercial landscapers.
Like I said, I have had my kombi units for 10 years and neither one has ever had an issue. I use them for grass trimming for hours on end and in some nasty grass....they never stop. Simple maintenance, stihl hp ultra, no problems.

The KM90's are Not that heavy. I've ran mine for 6 hours at a time, yer gonna be sore with anything after that long...unless it's an fs38. lol

I don't see people's problems with them, my 4 mix combi's have ran like tops all this time and I have trimmer, blower, cultivator and pole saw attachments. They have plenty of power to work them all. All I do is run the hp ultra and do the normal maintenance. If these are SO BAD...I don't see why mine would be so Good.

Is the Km90 a normal 2 cycle and are they still for sale?

My Brother told me there were a bunch of guys looking to rent pigs and goats. That's what we do at Squeals on Wheels. We bring farm animals to you.

What's the cost to deliver two pigs to North Carolina?
Are they pasture fed or grain? We like to feed them lots of sugar before the kill. And deliver to Tennessee to be packaged.
Please post sum pics.
Any trades?

get either a km 56 or a km 94 and call it good.
Thanks I couldn't remember what was what with Stihl anymore. I probably end up going with echo well because of the price.

Isn't there a 280? Because when in doubt power out!

There is a 280, both the 280 and the 266 show a dry weight of 10.8 lbs power head only. I have not handled both enough to know if that is true or not. The KM 90 is a 4-MIX, the 94 and 56 are not but the 94 is stratocharged and the 56 is a consumer grade unit. My dad has had his SRM 230 for 20 years now, in that entire time I have put a fuel line kit in it twice and cleaned the carb once.

I've got a couple br600s to look at. Never messed with a 4mix before. Hell I didn't even know they weren't 2stroke when I picked them up. I'll have to hit you up for some pointers when I get to them.
Joe too. Sounds like you guys have some experience on them.
