The post earlier was the only one I got to go through on my phone. Tried to reply 5 more times with no luck.

I too get this:
image-png.28038

every time I try to upload a pic. Doesn't matter if they are from my low-res phone camera or my regularly used digital cam.

EDIT: I just reposted someone elses camera screen shot to show the error message. I'm on a laptop and desktop computer.

Let's talk about these issues. Who is having them, and who is not.

I just tried to upload a pic and got the following message. Never had an issue here before. I have had problems on other websites though. I use a camera and the pics are about 4mb IIRC.

"The uploaded file is too large for the server to process."

Someone said the pics had to be under 2mb and that seems to be true. I just posted a pic on my Echo thread that was 1.5mb and it posted fine. The other pics (all over 2mb) won't post. Never had that problem before.

Im sure processing pics that require more data wil cost the owner of the site more? As small as these pics we post r there is no need for high resolution large mb size pics. Also takes longer to upload. 2048x1152 resolution on a phone camera will keep pics below 1mb usually and load faster I think? If everyone reduced resolution or sized pics it would probably make the site overall faster?

Seems to be the case as far as anything over 2Mb not going through. Just tried a 2.8Mb pic and a 2.4Mb pic individually and got the Error deal on both.

I agree and think we should keep costs down if possible. But shouldn't someone come out and say that instead of letting us scratch our heads...wondering what's going on?

We went through this over on AS with Darin and he expressed the pic size and site speed to me if I remember right

No problem with pic size but quite frequently it will time out when uploading. Happens with pics, quotes, likes, voting, and poasting. The speed of page loading is fine though.

Im thinking this isnt the owner but maybe server issues but overall if we keep our pics condensed the site will benefit performance and finacially better IMO
