Paslode framer not firing

I thought it was the big O-ring having gone bad. So I got a rebuild kit that included O-ring, spark plug, etc.. Well it wasn't that. I replaced the spark plug. Battery is good. Green light is flashing. Fan comes on. New fuel cell. You can smell fuel.

Anyone have any ideas?

Can you tell if the wire to the plug is sending juice? That can happen periodically. Is the nose you push down on the lumber depressing fully? There is an adjustment there sometimes the head goes back enough Ty start the fan but not enough to allow it to fire Check those couple things Aggravating guns at times You might be able to push it down the edge of some lumber and shoot a nail as a miss. If that works the head needs to be adjusted I'll try to explain better if that makes no sense

I understand. It sure looks like it is and I worked on that having had that come up in the past.

It could be very close but not quite fully depressing. I'm not sure. If that doesn't fix I'd have to look into the trigger mechanism itself I've taken then in for repair before Don't use one a ton anymore they are nice when they work good They're "cordless"

Got it stripped down. The lever isn't contacting the switch fully but I can't see why not.

I got it working but am not happy with the fix. I bent the lever with the roller enough to fully trip the switch when in the proper position.

I have had mine over 10 years. Good for small stuff when setting up air hoses and compressors would take longer than the job.

Got a Bostitch with a bad valve as well.
