All great info fellas .
I'll post some pics when she's done . Seals & bearings are in my mailbox right now . Going to order a new oil pump (updated one without the dust seal) .
Tygon fuel lines and a new bulb.

She's coming along nicely , got the new seals / bearings in after cleaning her up . Compression feels much better at this point .

Here's a little update .
The saw quit on me yesterday. I was warming it up prior to fine tuning the hi / lo screws and it just quit .
Would not fire again.
Good spark , plug dry .
Primer bulb was empty and would not pull fuel through the carb .
Fuel was getting TO the carb but not THROUGH it as it should.
I pulled the carb off as this is the obvious problem .
It's a Walbro WT-391 . Completely disassembled and cleaned . While I was spraying carb cleaner into the low speed jet , I found the Welch plug on the metering side was bubbling.
I guess I could have ordered a rebuild kit which would have included a new Welch plug but for $36.00 , I opted for a new one as this one is over 30 years old.
So , on the way is the new carb , oil pump and pickup .
Everything will be here Friday and the weekend weather looks perfect for an indoor project 😡.
Stay tuned.....

That's a bummer, I have not had a leaky Welch plug yet, though I have changed a few just because I had the part that came with a kit. Sounds like when you get done, you will have an almost new saw again!
