Breaker of recoils

When I noodled that first chunk, it sounded like it was lean popping.... not sure if the auto tune was still doing its thing or I have leak some where...
Yup I will!! Thanks you guys again!! ☺☺Nice job Austin! Sounds real good. [emoji106]
You did good. [emoji16]
Next time you noodle, try and keep tip slightly lower than the rear and see if it makes a dufference, vs. Rocking back and forth. I have found that chips clear a little better that way.
It’s normal on mtronic/autotune on the first cut or two it runs a touché fat then they sort themselves out from what I can tell. When I noodled that first chunk, it sounded like it was lean popping.... not sure if the auto tune was still doing its thing or I have leak some where...
Hmmm... I'll have to make more cuts with it to see if it will knock it off. I'll be going to my grandmother's for a camp out this up coming weekend and we are going to be doing firewood...It’s normal on mtronic/autotune on the first cut or two it runs a touché fat then they sort themselves out from what I can tell.
Thanks Jeff. It felt good to get a saw goin for free. You did good Austin. You brought it back from the dead. Made it into a nice runner. Lol [emoji106]
I'd try and get your blowdown back down to 15.
Check the port heights again with a ring in the bore. Stock should be around 11° bd I believeUpdate... sorry I haven't been on here. I had stuff to do. But I "ported" that 562. I lowered the exhaust and enlarged the intake just a Lil bit. Here's the numbers:
Stock:
Intake: 73
Transfers: 115
Exhaust: 100
Blowdown: 15*
"Ported"
Intake: 80
Transfers: 121
Exhaust: 102
Blowdown: 19*
Today I'm gonna raise the exhaust maybe a few degrees or less.
