We can open this up to brands, types, viscosity, how often you change and so on.
I run aw46 in my splitter and am looking to go to aw32. I get a whine from my pump that sounds like cavitation. It gets better after the oil warms up, but I loose pump speed by running the engine at a max rpm of 2800 just to keep the pump from screaming at me.
