did i ever tell you why i have a couple of saws?
in 1977 we had a winter storm my dad handed me a double bit axe.
and about 18" of snow i had to cut dozens of tree's
out of the road for
about three miles until we got to the highway.
A hand saw would have been better.

My last car build was a ‘74 Duster. I love Mopars.

there is a guyon the interwebs somewhere who took a stock rotating assembly “leaning tower of power” slant 6, had a custom cam ground for it, draped an enormous turbo off of it and got a Valiant into high 10s in the quarter. Those were anemic but stout built engines.

On the topic of cars...
I wasn't much of a Subaru fan until I saw a guy rebuild a burnt WRX engine. Even after the fire it still had compression. New seals, gaskets, belts, cleaned cams and voila, he saved it. I'll have to pull up the YT video and post it.

I'll always have respect for my Duratecs. Saw one yesterday that had 635k on it [emoji50] still going strong. The V6 3.0 is a great engine too. Throw some Comp Cams, CAI, tune it and you got a Stage 3 beast.
