Damn...

Two friends of mine here in C-17's...Dustan, a damn good hydraulics/flight controls mechanic, and his galfriend Candice, a damn good sheetmetal mechanic, decided to take a trip to Alaska week before last. They rented a motorcycle there, not sure if a Harley or what type of street bike/cruiser, to cruise some highways with. They also rented one of those little tow-behind trailers to pull, to bring some clothing/possessions, etc. From what I gathered talking with other mechanics last week, they hit some low spot/rainwater patches on a highway and the bike and trailer got squirrely on them, and somehow ended up going end over end a few times. That's the only detail we've been told here as to what happened.

Candace suffered severe head trauma and died two days ago...Dustan is still in the hospital there in Alaska in critical but stable condition. Dustan is a very accomplished bike rider, has two Harleys. Candace could hold her own on her Harley as well.

Just sux to get this news!

Pretty nice day here today and I'm off work! Its 82 with the real feel of 94. What does that even mean?

Grabbed my new 461 and my 064 and headed over a buddy's house this morning. He had a bunch of rounds dropped by a tree service and doesn't have a splitter. I offered to break my 461 in on them! First freaking cut I hit a lag screw! Glad i brought the 064!

Ouch. That right there is why I discovered Archer chain. I've started running them anytime someone wants me to drop a tree near a house.

I had a brandy new loop of RS and found a piece of rebar a while ago.

that sucks Jason.
I hope Dustan will survive, but loosing his loved one will be very hard for him, impossible to put words on what he goes through

Good evening guys,
Raining donkeys here, but thats fine, the materiales I picked up today is dry and indoors :D
Most of the times I prefer impregnated pine, even on protected walls, but they store them outdoor, and I got no time to wait for the drying process, so spruce I bought.

This happened many time's to me and my crew
Neighbors and sometimes just
People walking by
Would *b-word and moan about noise
Or we were always blocking somebody.
I had enough of a bastard and his wife
We we're doing a three story all hardwood floor job.
Every few minutes they would walk 100ft
Across the neighbors property
To *b-word about noise.
Everything that needed cut hardwood flooring and crown moulding, trim pieces
Got cut with a 372k
I had it probably at 12/1 in a breezeway
It was damn loud
Couldn't hear them or see them to *b-word anymore.

Morning All. Great day to be Canadian... Long weekends in summer really can't be beat.

Totally missed us, haven't seen a drop in almost a week. I sure hope @redline4 gets wet on his way home and blames the right person this time, lol.

You know , a slight shower on my way home might clean some of the splattered bugs off my truck...
So, if my trucks still dirty when I get home, can I blame you then??
