NSP2. Cuz PA WiFi sucks

With all the maintenance mods (OBIGGS, LAIRCM Infrared Countermeasures, PWIT, etc) this bird went through here, today was *s-wordt or get off the pot time on weight and balance. We were looking for 282,500 lbs dry...we hit 282,490 lbs on the scales...this bird going to Functional Test for engine runs/final ops/flight control checks tomorrow, hopefully hit the fuel pit and gone bright and early Monday morning.

Probably about 10 to 15 hours on a fresh build. Just ordered the service manual, so no more guess work lol.

Take it out and hold it. Have someone kick it over and you should feel the pump lol. Manual should be here next week sometime.

I’ll say one thing...my job working avionics/flight controls on these SOB’s has always put a whole new perspective on a ‘love/hate relationship’ with what you do for a living...it’s been that way for many years. When things are good, they’re good...when things go south on electrical/avionics problems...it gets f’d up quick troubleshooting/diagnosing wiring and problems. Miles and miles and miles of wiring in these birds, much less very complicated avionics. C-17’s are the single kick ass airlifter on the planet...they sure come with a price though when it comes to working these bad boys! It’s a paycheck no matter how ya add it or stack it though.

Time to crank some rock & roll in the shop, crack open a cold one, get some bird ready for the grill...family pack of wings, family pack of thighs. I’m eating lite tonight...gotta watch my figure!

...and hopefully something toting tits and a taco gonna show up about 7!

Yep the plug is dry the 3 times I've checked it. Makes me like my Suzuki more and more lmao.

Ok.....so I feel like hammered chit this morning. Overdid it on the picnic tables yesterday, then woke up at 1:30 with stomach cramps. Finally got back to sleep about 3:30, dogs woke me up at 5:00.
