This storm hit us about 6AM this morning. It was wild here for about a half hour or so.

The water was coming off the roof in buckets.

I'm thinking some white oak will look great milled. Didn't think we had any white oak up here.

White and black oak are great for milling and making stuff. Red oak is more porous and better for the fire, IMO.

My sons both have the full set up for hammock sleeping/camping. I got the rain fly but I dont have a bug net yet. I have taken naps in the yard but havent slept all night in one. Im not sure I could and still walk the next day!
