Happy 4th of July fellas! Made it to the camper last night, today is day 1 of 4 off for me. A little deck work today then a “couple” adult beverages, some cold shrimp, and marinated chicken breasts on the wood fire tonight. Sure is peaceful here today!

It's not a holiday here, but we do fireworks on other occasions. Poor folks just shoot their shotguns in the air.

Right now our fire danger is severe so most things are prohibited that can possibly cause a blaze.

Speaking of blaze....we had a fire about 30 minutes from the house today. Fire fighting planes were flying over most of the afternoon.

Well the load of red oak I posted the other week was prime chit. Went back yesterday and the lady says that was it for me. She lost the house foreclosure just being a bish now.
