Found the keys. Cancelled the locksmith.

My granddaughter had hid them outside. She lost her house keys, so she hid mine outside in case she needed them to get in.

After looking for them for hours.....I was more than a little upset.
Had to go to a friend's house
Her car key the only one that came with the car
Costs 400.00 or something stupid like that.
She lives alone
And swore she set them on the tv stand
The night before
She was panicked and had tore the place apart
I got there and looked in the yard just in case
When her cat came home and went and got his new toy from the litter box to play with
A little troll doll with a nissan key attached to it.

I know I shouldn't be hauling with my half ton and the twin axle trailer but it cooked everything in the rear brakes but the inner wheel cylinder rubbers

So can these 97Z71 gmc 2500 be swapped to rear disc without messing with the abs? No sensors at the rear wheels.
Also have a 1999 Tahoe for parts but used all that up already and the stuff on the spare blown rear I picked up cheap years back. It has the wheel in the rear I think. My truck has none I saw. It needs spring kits at the wheels, at the least. Bottom one is toasted on the crossover. Drums, shoes, yada yada

Any kits available that bolt on for disc or maybe go newer?
Most times the limiting factor is the large volume required from the master cylinder and the brake lines. An old F body caliper from the eights would be about perfect. Small and compact. Not worried about adapting brake cables. Did that a thousand times already.
Going to look up some sthuffs

Tested the two foredom motors and pedals I got yesterday. Both ran good. The shaft on the SR is a little noisy, the S is super smooth. When it's not so hot I'll go through the bins of burrs, stones, and mandrels. It came with some old school carbide and HSS burrs but they're all 1/4 for a die grinder. Still cool stuff to have I guess. My son seemed interested in a motor so I'll probably pass that S to him with a couple handpieces. There were five or six total, all straight though:(.

Fun times. Bled the abs unit 98' 99' style and still nothing on the rear fluid. I really do hate the crap brake system on this truck, always did. Need my 350 back on the road. *f-wording covid is holding that up.

Chilling back at the room. Was a hot one today. Gonna watch the idiot box for a while and crash out. Any of you guys have a Tecomec chain grinder hit me up. I gotta a question.
Several of us... spit it out.

It got dark. No more day light for the truck to piss me off. Gave the abs computer a heart attack, twice. It released the brake light in the dash. Goes on and off pumping it. Nothing out back. Won't take down any fluid now. These brake systems are crap.

A few hammers, an anvil and somethin that needs fixin to pound on sometimes helps.
The loud poundin and the screamin coming from the barn helps get the point across that grampa is not happy.
