Put it this way Gunner I grew up within pissing distance of orangeville proper. Nuff said. It's a place that the cops were skeereded tew go on a friday/Saturday night. Not uncommon to have meth houses blow up there these days.
My ex's Dad grew up there. His dad was one of the originals that made Orangville what it was. When he died the graveside service involved the preacher saying a few words and then playing the banjo while a bottle of Kessler's was passed around. I helped clean out the house after, they came across a belt buckle with a blade that hid where the belts overlapped. The story was he took it from a fella in a fight one night at the Orangeville Tavern. The next night Harvey was in the lot outside and guy came up and asked for his knife back. He told him he wasn't going to return it just to have it used on him. The guy told him he was heading home for his shotgun and he'd be back. Harvey walked to his car and pulled a 12 gauge out of the trunk and said "go ahead, I've already got mine here".

Need an opinion from you Hooskie guys.
This 350 does indeed have a new piston. There really isnt even carbon on the crown.

That being said, I understand these can be turned into a 346, which according to the interwebz is as good as double stamp night with free lap dances at the jiggly bar.
I have to believe right now this is a 350 top end.
Is there a big enough difference between the 2 to warrant me pulling this top end in favor of a new 346 one?

How much to charge an hour for chainsaw lessons?

Mild to wild... does not really matter. Nobs or home owners looking to up their game or guys looking to join a crew of some sort. I know where you start. You know where they will start but many seem to think they are a trigger man so... why not. About the only thing I'd be willing to teach right now besides how to carry, split and toss firewood in a trailer. They last less than two weeks most times. Often a waste of time. People who buy saws do ask sometimes. Getting the feeling the next three saws going will be like that. Maybe the one today. 50/50 shot in an hour or two when one leaves.

It's a solid question and I need to make easier money. Home owners are the real winners. They get stuff done that day.

There'll be a bit of a power difference between the 2 is all. Totally up to you. If it were me, I'd go the 346 route

You could also throw a 345 top on there. Different bolt patterns but it can be done.

I know a little about Husky's, I've worked on a friends 2 that he had at the time, a 353 and an older 27 something, plus other brands of saws and all kinds of small engines. Not full time, but I can tear one down and rebuild it. I rebuilt my 330 that I have now, and I'm learning more as I go about saws, small engines, porting and all that... My thought was the 346 was the way to go but that's just me. I'm all ears though!
