You're only hurting yourself here son.
Sell your stihls buy huskys problem fixted.Do everyone of these after market oil pump worm gears for Stihl, 1135, 1128 and 1122 from Ebay or HLS have a built in fail?
Now I tried them in old oe 66's. Fail
Tried them in modded 1122 oe pumps. Two foot mill cut, fail.
Gave up.
Tried an oe 046 fail, first run.
Tried a new AM 460 pump and gear. Fail, zero engagement
Tried one in a 362 win, no problems
Tried another same, my work saws.
361 win no problems, twice. Ran them for years.
Fresh 361 today. New AM pump and gear, the better ones from HLS, fail, ate the gear. Pumped zero ccs. Pump is fine.
Wtf...
Time to give up AM gears and 460 AM pumps?...
Had zero issues with AM pumps. They lack volume most times and it's not an issues on 20" worksaws. Most commercial guys prefer oem anyway. I don't send AM stuff to loggers or tree crews so I'm really the only feedback I have on them. Sent out two ... 361 and 362 with them. Heard nothing back. Both oem pumps.
Help a guy out and tell me I'm spot on and to just stop testing AM gears in any of them. I do my best... it was all lubed up to. Shredded Wheat now... pulled the pump off with oil cap still on and it spewed oil everywhere... just to be sure. Cycled the pump in my hand, it's fine. This saw just put back together.
Lucky none of this stuff ever sees the street in saws going out.
Had zero issues with Hyway clutches and clutch springs... broke just as many as oem springs in my saws. Not many but a few. They break relatively quick after being installed, always just one![]()

GFY hater! I'm straight, my girlfriend laughed when I showed her my pee pee
So your saying you never tried. Fair but again, no help really.
They sell them and I know people use them. I did for years without issues. It seems these clear plastic jobs are just under size a bit 0.015. It just started with the last years orders. Bad batch maybe idk.
A price point for everything and you know that. If I want the oem talk I'll ask for it. Trying to figure out a problem not hear the preacher.
Yep it's a royal chit show on top of the chit show already going on. Really sad.Dam failed
