I would get a Polaris ranger Randy
I’ve had 2 of them
Cold blooded, don’t like the Dion rear axle
PIA to replace u-joints on rear shafts
My 2 cents

Sent from Hoskey hilltop

I've never seen a Polaris machine I liked.

Sweet gravely. My property doesn’t justify a ztr, as I live on a 7500 ft2 lot. Most of it is my house and turf backyard. So I just use a Toro push mower

Sometimes Wish I lived in a van down by the river. No grass to cut.
Got that one to help the in-laws out. Theres 10 acres there. My wife and two of her sisters used to cut it with a push mower. Their father was a POS. My wife promised her mom before she died that she would always keep the grass mowed. Mrs Clara Nell was a wonderful lady, and loved her yard. My sister in laws are good girls. My wife is the best out of the bunch. Hard worker. Great wife. Takes care of my dumb arse. Also dang nice looking. I can afford to help out now, thanks to her, so I'm paying it back.

I have 6 riding mowers on a 1/2 acre lot.
I use the one with fuel in it.
One is fixed for a paying neighbor and the other 5 followed me home broken.
They all now run.
Anybody need a mower?

Hondas Seem to be the best build and somewhat easier to work on.
My duck huntin relatives say they are the only ones that survive duck and dove season with no hassles.

Been there, done that. Had a 1986 Snapper YT16 that got me through the bad years. Had more weld and scrap metal on it than OEM at the end. Finally just couldnt keep it going. Still got the motor. Briggs 16 hp twin 2(tough mofo). Bought a big box special. That died in less than 3 years. Bit it and Bought a good commercial ZTR Dixie Chopper. Havent looked back. Just dont have the time anymore to be creative, but got a little more money. Always short on one or the other.

No, mainly just stayed in Dallas. If I travel, it’s either family in Green Bay or vacations. If I’m in Texas, it’s usually in Dallas or occasionally San Antonio
If you're ever up that way, get some fresh doughnuts. My grandmother came up with the recipe after working for Spud nuts and Frito Lay.
My uncle Jimmy runs it all now. Hes the second oldest. My mom is the oldest. Married and moved to Georgia. Got an aunt that lives in Sadler, and an uncle in Pfluegerville just out of Austin.

I have an old Snapper, series 6 with 30" cut.
Someone put a Briggs 17hp motor on it.
It is my in town bush hog.

Not a fan of cutting grass.
Grass will only grow so tall then it falls over.

My 2355 JD and a 6' bush hog is more my speed.
Gots a 1946 Allis Chalmers Model C with A 6' pull behind brush hog for that. Got tested hard in chest high THICK fescue Sunday. It passed.
