I just went to the Stihl and Husqvarna dealers in my area. Both Stihl guys are nurseries and carry plant/tree pharmaceuticals.

They'll be able to stay open through the corona BS. The Husky guys are just equipment shops, so they are deemed non-critical and more than likely will have to close.

9f to start the day. We are in wait and see mode here, waiting to hear what the experts say and what will remain open and what needs to close.

Tims and Starbuks are drive thru and take out only no sitting in. Movie theatres and most gyms have closed. We are still open as long as construction continues and people keep scheduling deliveries. Will we close the showroom? I don't know I suggested limiting entry to people with appointments only but that didn't work for one of the managers. She felt that she was at greater risk by spending scheduled time with someone specific than the general public just walking in.

If she's like the bosses here, it ain't a good idea unless it's her idea. Couple days from now she'll come back to the troops and let you know she pitched the idea to her boss as her own and you're closing the showroom.

I think her preference was to just close it all together. I thought my idea provided a better opportunity for business continuity and being able to keep people earning a cheque instead of paying them to be at home...
