Half a dozen schools here in Houston Co are providing a breakfast and lunch to students free of charge each day while this shutdown is going on. They drive up in one of the parking lots where the curbside meal service is set up, each child under 18 in the vehicle is handed two meals (breakfast and lunch)...no getting out of the vehicle, etc. I’m sure this will get taken advantage of pretty quick but good on the county and school system for providing these kids at least two meals...for some it may be the only meals they eat daily.

That sounds like a good solution to a real problem. My only concern would be, if they can't afford basic nutrition at home are they going to be able to arrive at school in a car to pick up meals?

Good point there...just don’t know. And they may eventually get school busses involved or something like that. I’m sure logistically that will be something that has to be addressed.

Looks like most all fast food joints are going to drive-thru and carry out only...shutting the dining areas and playgrounds down, if they have a playground. Chic-fil-A started doing this, I’m sure all will follow suit.

I've delayed doing stuff the last days, drove to my dealer to pick up what I'd ordered, everyone is on their toes, even there we ain't allowed to walk around as we could before.
On the way home I probleby blew the turbo, doesn't bother me, ain't going out for the next weeks anyway and it's just a bloody car!

We went to the pharmacy and the Husky dealer. Shops were only allowing two customers to be in the shop at once.

I think we will move to more draconian measures by Wednesday. Supposed to be an update tonight at 7PM.

The government is doing teleconference meetings instead of meeting in person to show solidarity with the nation.

Sorry to hear about the turbo. Hopefully you get it fixed easily when this all passes.

Our local school district has done the same here. It's open to the entire community under the age of 18.

Westgate sent out letters this morning to all guests that they are not having the free lunches and breakfasts because of the Corona virus. Sucks because I was really looking forward to em. Oh well
