Just got a email, and the district will decide tomorrow if they are shutting the schools down. Boys are gonna be pissed off working with me lol.

I just got the BOE call... two weeks spring break.
We go back now on the 27th. Second case confirmed today in my county of Camden the head dog was saying. Shopping at 3:00 am tonight to avoid all that bull. Go get some extra juice, tea and stuff like that. Have to stock up on the last of that honey from the cranberry bogs last fall. Got six dozen easter eggs already and grabbing all I can this weekend before others find my egg lady. Her hubby makes the honey. Maybe hit a butcher and grab some fine fillets. Bill said six bucks something a pound... not bad. We buy TP in fiddy packs so were always good.

We got a big four door Samsung fridge and plenty of cabinets. Cats only need more treats and some more litter.
I'm even going to bust out the bread machine. The girls love the cheese breads I make. And soup... we need a fresh batch of ham and bean!

Evening guys.


Announced today that schools will be closed for an extended spring break. Our spring break isn’t scheduled to start for 2 weeks so they decided one more week of classes to allow parents to do some planning and then no classes for 3 weeks. Post secondaries all closed effective immediately.

This seems like a smart approach.

The Governor shut down schools here for 3 weeks effective Monday. Bit of a hasty knee jerk type snowflake reaction. Has incited increased panic shopping, and left parents scrambling for time off or child care on short notice. She's new and so far I'm not impressed. She kinda botched a gas shortage last winter as well.
