at work we do what we call slag welding
one continuous bead 3 passes around a tube
but this die grinder is is for before welding at home
i buy my own tools for home and use theirs at work
and anytime you want to have a weld off let me know
can be stick mig or tig
I can assume you’re referring to water tube or fire tube boilers, aye Dally...PVI, Murray? No more often than I weld anymore, I’d probably blow your doors off with either of my Lincoln MIG’s or my ol’ school stick AC/DC Lincoln tombstone. As far as yer little battery Milwaukee goes, don’t be too rough on it...of course we know that won’t happen...you better invest in the XC extended-run batteries. Have these by the hundreds at work, of course yours will sit idle on a shelf in the little she-shed, but they ain’t all cracked up to be what folks make ‘em out to be. Then again, they get used a hundred times more at work than you’ll ever use yours. And I’d hate like hell to see yer TIG with filler rods...

My impact is older and I only have 1.5ah batteries and it'll still whoop anything new. I had to sink in a few 4" drywall screws yesterday putting up a thick piece of wood trim for my friend, it sunk them with ease. Then i had to remove old rusty coil pack nuts from a Chrysler 300, didn't even need to spray Kroil or anything. Zipped em off with ease.

I'm gonna get a 12v 3/8" impact wrench next and a 20v 1/2" for tires
