Doesn't look bad overall Ken. Just needs a good cleaning. Does it run?
:nusenuse:
It's 15 outside....sitting on my deck. Damn Husky It's probably still leaking with all the Dolkitas and Stihls lurking. Might have to leave my 435 running for a while next to it to warm up. My wrist has big lumps on it so this should be fun.
Still in me flannel jammies. Girls left to Feis

Side note.
The air filter is eating fines on the 362C
Really liking the instant cold start with no choke hours later on cold days. Hope that stays the same for heat soaked summer restarts.
My carbed saw does not like either extreme even with constant tuning. The old PP455 ,361, 200T :laser-kill:and the 66 are never affected. They stick the tune. That carb needs an update to ts800 maybe. Need to check out that swap.

The whole damn lot of hammers was defective, bad batch...Monkey tryin’ to push bad product.

Gotta admit, it was fun though.

I can just imagine the look on Scott's face when he saw "Staff Member" plastered across Ryan's avatar. LOL

Raining here. I decided to pull the speed-o panel out of the Mitsu. I found a hairline crack in the solder to a tiny resistor. The temp gauge kept telling me it was running hot.

I was riding around with my temp gun checking the engine and it was always running cool. Changed the t-stat, coolant and sensor--still read hot. Resoldered that resistor and she's gtg.

We send our share of problematic erratic boards/components that don’t pass o’ scoping, bench-testing, like all other aircraft squadrons, to Electronics Warfare. Some guys are damn good and find the problem on the component level, some obviously juss say fugg it and order new high dolla entire replacement boards, etc...ain’t seen a gubment check bounce yet theory I guess.

I used to use those guys at Hill and Holloman AFB's. If you got the right guy, he could fix something that might take 2-4 weeks to get through supply channels.

Them backshopers saved my bacon more than once. Especially on the F-117. They were a nightmare for getting parts.

Which is the easiest atv/utv to work on or service? I just got done doing plugs, starter and solenoid on my son's Polaris 800 Sportsman. What a pain in the dick. The only thing it does well is run like a striped assed ape. Which once upon a time would have been good enough.
