what stick machine are you wanting ?
id suggest saving up some more and get a multi process machine
most all the new machines are inverter machines so computer boards and capacitors

I was looking at Lincoln, I've heard that Lincolns are the cats azz so I was gonna get their basic stick to start. I can save up, Mig or Tig if I go that route?

Just cut the A/C line and tap in there. Some tape.... a few twist. Your golden!

my first machine was a lincoln buzz box acdc 225
do not just go ac one they are cheaper but less useful
you can scratch start tig with the acdc along with stick they are a little cold starting
i just checked and they are most money now then what i paid almost 20 years ago

The spark plug is white and new like the air filter. The rim don't float
The pull rope is 14" long

You guys tell me about the rest.
Top cover screws are stripped in the back.
Carb has been off but no one bother to clean the air injection tube. It's gross and caked with *s-word inside.

Tell me stuff you see or don't see.
