All done. New Melling hi volume pump, Ford Racing timing chains/phasers, billet tensioners and adjusters with silicone gaskets. Runs like a TOP now! Much better idle and more torque down low. Very happy I did it.

One tensioner was weak, everything else looked really good. My buddy couldn’t believe it has 123k on the motor. He says he has been inside 5.4s with 30k that weren’t as clean. Hooray for Rotella T6 and Motorcraft filters.

Got quite a bit wood splitting done today, should be able to finish it tomorrow but we're supposed to get rain.
That should probleby open up a day for chainsaws.

I know what you mean. Chrysler Plymouth/Dodge Jeep is all I own as well tried a Chevy (z28) once that didn't work. Dad said had to park it in the road. Later on someone stole it true story.
