I have a hard time wrapping my head around that theory. Where would the oil go if those divots weren't there?

Idk wtf the guy is trying to accomplish with the divots. Reduce friction? Reduce weight? Make it look more like a golf ball?
Looks like that piston already has some scoring

That’s kick ass on a board, no doubt...good for you! We enjoy the hell outta slinging darts here in the shop. We damn sure ain’t at your caliber, by no means. We have some damn good, tough games here...sometimes there’s some heavy dollars getting slung around here. I’m really impressed how well my 20 yr old college daughter, as well, my 28 yr old Navy F/A-18 aircraft carrier son...he can sling ‘em as well. We have a damn blast throwing those darts.

Yup it’s definitely a good time, especially if you get the family involved. Hopefully I can get back to playing again at some point as I did really enjoy it.

They talk about me a little in this video at about the 1:30 mark when the PDC came back to the US. Unfortunately work got in the way and I couldn’t attend.

I've seen it mentioned before. The theory is that it holds oil, just like machine marks on the piston. Yet most husky pistons have none, or very little. I'm my mind, the oil is between the cylinder and piston. Whether the piston is a Meteor or Top Flite, the oil is still there

Got the dive training done for today. Two more dives to go and we're all set. Waves came in and killed visibility today so we didn't finish.
