Nope. Being that I live in a suburban area, I don’t think the neighbors would like it. I’m actually happy with how it runs a 20” bar, but I do plan on buying a 16“.

That saw is pretty choked in the muffler stock. Your going to want to read this thread and do the easiest muffler mod your likely to perform on a saw. The saw will run much cooler and not be much louder. You can fank me later. Btw the guy that did this thread is kind of a dik

I’ve been reading on how to do it. Isn’t it just remove the inner tube and cut the deflector, then retune the carb?

right alot was 97 98 models probably the best motor ford made was the 300

another good thing with chevy you dont need a different bell housing to change motor or transmission because all the v6 and v8 used the same bolt pattern since 55

You forgot the ole 302. Definitely dont get enough love. Good motor for as many as they made.

Pull the muffler
I used a hemostat and pulled the limiters right out.
I took the deflector off and pounded the three openings flat and cut the front of the factory deflector open.
I added a red97 deflector to the opposite side
Retuned and ran it two year's.
