You do a carb kit yet? Impulse line and fuel line/filter are in good condition?
Complete rebuild, yeah I kitted the carb tonight. Was thinking impulse but it flooded on me twice from a cold start so I'm sure it's pulling fuel. Never popped with the choke on, just flooded like mofo. Held it wide open and pulled about ten times to start. It's something simple just pissing me off. Lol

I pulled the screws but not the Welch plug. The carb isn't very old, I replaced it awhile back because the original was leaking around the shafts.(new walbro)

Fugged with that POS 044 for a bit tonight. About had enough of that thing.

Id run over it/hit it with something heavy, then light it on fire. Creamsickles are supposed to melt in the heat. Problem solved.
I like the ones you can leave out in the rain for 10 or so years, then use em to pound in fence posts, and they still cut wood afterward.
Here's a hint. They aint orange, and they aint plastic.
Oh, you can also use em for a parking brake if you want. They dont care.

If one or more passages were dirty it would be lean not flooding. Pressure check and make sure that the inlet needle is indeed seating.

Was damn hot today, not used to 90 so early in the summer. Pool repairs should be done by Wednesday and swimming by the weekend hopefully.
Geez, I didnt know it got to be 90 degrees up Dere in the land of moose and maple syrup.
How are ya now?
Maybe a rip in the rental with the top off would cool ya down, eh?

Yeah, whut he sed.
If the carb is good, maybe pressure and vac test to see if a seal or the boot is leaking air. Although if its running rich, sounds like needle not seating right. Could also be a leak around the metering diaphragm, or a pinhole. Making the diaphragm lift the needle at idle. Probably not. That was a wierd one.
