The Bubba and I managed to get ten critters vaccinated. We quarantined the ones with eye problems, and gave that group the high dollar antibiotics.

Trying to wrangle a month old calf that's blind in one eye ain't no fun. Once I wound up on my ass in a warm pile of cow crap with the calf in my lap. With my legs wrapped around it....and in a headlock, I was able to give the little feller two shots.

Good times.

I gotta inject my current real life experience. You met Foster. I think I did OK with him. Polite. Smart enough. He works his ass off, won't be without a job. I told him I'd like for him to try two years of CC on me after graduation. It didn't make it a year. I still hold a little resentment but I'm to the point realizing you gotta give them everything you can and appreciate what sticks. He lives in the lake house my parents still own on the lake. Dad will *b-word to me to no end about the dumb little things he does that every one of us has done at his age. Or more importantly didn't do. We go back and forth agreeing and then Dad says "he's a great kid". Every time...

What time I did get to spend around Foster I'd say I agree with your Dad Tim.

Close up of my throw line launcher. Yes it's a glorified spud gun that shoots 12oz lead shot filled bags 200' into the air.

Face cut and back cut. Shoulda thrown a Humboldt on it but there was rocks and gravel everywhere around the stump.

Missed my lay by about 12" bastard twisted the opposite way I expected and landed on the wire grapevine trellis thingy. No harm and the client was slack jawed when it came down. Was funny to see his expression change when he looked at me and I was like meh I do this all the time.

Spar was 29ish inches DBH and 28 foot. Dude got 2 9.5' and 1 8.5' saw logs out of it and a mixed bag of 10+" saw logs greater than 4.5 feet per his specs.

Not everyone is cut out for college, I’m not. Right outta high school i went through the State Police academy, graduated and did it for a year. It was a waste of time because i realized it wasn’t for me. Parents still wanted me to try college and i disagreed and applied for a linesman's apprenticeship at DTE but never expected a call . I did some construction work while going to school for a HVAC journeyman's card. Just before I was supposed to take the exam DTE called me so that’s where i’ve been for 20 years. I wasted lots of time and money but found what I like.

Nailed a new sceptre oil/mix jug last fall
With a locust
Neighbor said he wasn't worried the tree was to short to touch it.
