So what’s better...Husky HP or the XP+ Oil? I’ve ran them both, as well as LS, and haven’t really noticed any difference.

You can either spend the rest of your days in the oil thread trying to figure it out, or just use your best judgement and go from there.
I run either XP or Kawasaki 2-stroke small engine oil, I can't tell them apart out of the bottle or in the saw. Both have fuel stabilizers in them which I really like.
Red Armor gets the saws too stiff in the cold here for my liking, besides the high cost.

Question for the 2-stroke oil gurus...without having to entertain this in the ‘oil thread’...last thing I wanna do is get that bunch riled up, over a cost thing.

...Echo Red Armour 12-pk of 6.4 fl oz bottles (2 1/2 gals of 50:1 mix per each bottle)...for $54. Sound half-ass pricewise or too much?

XP. no plus.

I think the most important thing to do is make sure the gas is fresh and efree. Oil is oil and will always be oil

I think the only thing I even seen anyone agree on in that oil thread is that silver bottle Stihl oil sucks.
