Evening All.

That blue reminds me of the Chinese knock off Stihl saws... Kawa’s are supposed to be green damn it.

When the kawa Mules first came out you could have any color you wanted as long as it was red;)

You bastids... I don't use any hand lotion or cream or anything, the camera makes em look like that but they are cut and calloused and dirty... I'll show the scar that's healing from a screw... Def not soft! Lol

Green here
The early diesel one's barely broke 10mph

The green diesels were a little later. I wore a couple brochures out staring at the pictures back in 1989. I wanted one pretty bad. In retrospect it seems kind of stupid looking back on it now. I found out a couple years later they weren't nearly as fun as they looked. Not like they are today.

The Mule is pretty much a low speed work horse. We need it for fencing and stuff like that. I didn't get it for trail riding or mudding.

Back then all I wanted to do was go fast. I remember seeing the Mule in a shop when my dad was picking up parts for his '78 honda 750/4 street bike. I'd never seen anything like it and thought it would be like a small sand rail or a 2 seat honda odyssey.

Nowadays fast isn't all that exciting. All the equipment I look at is for work like your cool new blue Mule. Hell I just spent a solid chunk of a friday evening splicing an eye in some rope for, you guessed, it work.20180913_094214_001.jpg 20180913_094838.jpg 20180913_100743.jpg

That’s beautiful. You’ll have to show me how to do that sometime

Thanks Kevin. That was actually a rope I did for Cole awhile back. The one I did tonight turned out just the same. I just didn't take pics of the process. I'm happy to show ya anytime, but I just followed the written Samson instructions for a double braid class I eye splice. They have a video too:

You don't have to have the exact perfect size fid as long as you measure with a ruler.

your hand is smoother than a hand model
You say you are a mechanic but I don’t see a single oil or grease stain
Maybe you say you don’t have soft hands because they catch on your silk panties ??

Spent the day driving. Visited some family and friends well into the night. Just got settled back in at the shack. I wish I could get up here more. You don't want to intrude on good people's time and then good, worthwhile conversation follows. Had it happen everywhere I stopped.
