Cleaned up a customer’s XS261 that was straight gassed. Got lucky. Cylinder shined up nice and oem pistons are only $35. I have an extra piston if anyone needs one. Apparently the dealer ordered 2 for whatever reason

Coolz. I started using some WD-40 while sanding, seems to help.

How does a psp make such a mistake?

Apparently his oil of choice didn’t have dye in it. He switching to Yamalube R2 now

I have a little cup that I dip into the parts washer. Mineral spirits. Makes a mess of the jug dunking burrs and sandpaper into it, but it’s just how I roll I guess. I’ve tried Craytex and it’s not for me. Back to my old 80 grit emery on a nail
