I’ve pretty much owned every type of bike ever created before 2010.

Some of the most fun I had was working for the Canadian Distributor of Mongoose when I was 27 and BMX made a big return. Can’t remember what size wheels those bikes had but we had a super fun adult dirt series for a couple of years.

The only bicycle I ever had came outta the creek. Standing on a bridge one day and could see something shining in the water. My brother and I pulled 8 or 10 bikes out of there. Evidently the bullies in the area were stealing them from the kids and pitching them in the creek. We fixed a bunch up and gave them back. By the time I was 12 I was riding a dirt bike that my older brothers gave me. Never rode a bicycle again that I can remember.

Used to have ol’ Rampars and Diamondbacks back in those days...
All I had was a Huffy

I wanted a Motomag Mongoose soooo bad back then....... I did pick up a really clean Haro for a song not to long ago.

Living in the city dirt bikes were frowned upon. We wer close to the outskirts so some kids had them and I won’t say they were never ridden on the same trails...

Rode all kids of kids bikes up to about 12, BMX until about 15 and they started racing road and track through high school. University was triathlon and mountain. After university it was Mtn casual and didn’t race again until the BMX I think 26ers from 27 to about 30. Then back to mountain casually since.

Considering a new one too ride with Elliott but can’t decide what to get. Last Mtn was stolen from the oldest.
