Fired my Sportsman up today. Nothing. No forward or reverse. Pulled the floorboards and clutch cover off. Rat bastard mice built a nest on the clutches and pissed on them all winter causing the center to rust. 2 hours later with some steel wool and PB Blaster she was rocking again. More rain. I suppose I should see why my atv developed a weird snapping noise from under the clutch cover.

Yep. That’s where they got inWTF, they must have crawled in through the vent snorkel?
I thought my issue was a belt or clutch. Turns out a stick must have gotten jammed up into the chain guide and messed it up. Along with a too loose chain it would cause a funky noise on acceleration.
