My girl bartered some syrup for a bottle of peach Crown tonight. I'm not a liquor drinker but damn that *s-word is smooth.

Even when I drank rye it wasn’t Crown. That stuff is crazy sweet, much prefer Gibson’s. Sadly now just vodka and rum.

I tried an all corn bourbon when I was in Dallas last January, I should have loved it but nope made me feel ill.

Evening all.

Was a good day to not be at the office, 3 co-workers that I will never see again. All remaining down to a 3 or 4 day pay week. Other day or 2 hopefully to be partially covered by an employment insurance program. One other full timer returning fro mat leave will only get part time, not eligible for EI support.
Should be okay for those that actually get the extra day(s) off, as mgmt it will really only be less pay for likely more work. Might swing a 4 day weekend here or there, just can’t go anywhere...

Every time I *b-word to my old man about the people I see buying doritos, mountain dew, and candy bars for their kids on a bridge card and driving off in a Denali he reminds me that they have a lot more day to day problems than we do. I'm always hesitant to believe but he busted his ass a lot harder than I do.

Appreciate the heads up brother, but nothing's been normal for me lately. Heard the news about the "lockdown" while on my way to IL. Dad has heart surgery scheduled for Thursday so had to come out. Ain't gonna lie, I'm scared chitless for him. Because of both the surgery and covid. Dad is the poster child for who this virus kills. Hopefully I'll only need to be here for a few then head back. Hospital will probably be testing my family and I for covid just to walk in the door to be with him. I'm ok with that part at least.

We got a nice spring day but kinda windy, plan is to walk Øsa later today.
In the meanwhile I gotta sort out all the mess in the house.

Corona, We hope to peak around april month, that is if we all are careful and don’t open up the restrictions we have at the moment.
I hope the government have nerves enough to keep stuff closed.
After it, we gotta keep our country borders closed, probleby rest of the year, it would be pointless to get a new wave of this *s-word.
