Very nice work:clap2:
The nose looks very good....it's not butchered and he didn't wreck the rear wheel openings in the quarters.
The piston would agree.

I think this one had a lot of toolbox time. The muffler is KLV approved though, nice dent in it. Might get the hammer and whack a couple more.
Have some pistons that look like that after many years.
I think I’d be hooking that one to the truck and giving it a yank
I think I'd finish that mfer with a power pole and let it kick back and fall off the ledge. *f-word that firewood!
Two please:comp4:

You'd be suprised
When it gets to be unbearable
I've had to tell teens and adults
Not only guy's but several girls and women
Over the year's.
Wow
I tell ya what. Between him and the guy that wants to tell me how to run my smoker...
Wtf you don't know *s-word about smokers gfy
No way.

You can find him on the Treehouse forum.
Sucks about Butch. I chatted with him a bit over there. Nice guy, bad deal for him.
And thank you all for the good vibes and advices for my interview! Probably going to hear from them tomorrow. I got my boots ready and I will definitely comb my hair and shower, be all fresh and attentive. I'm ready to learn and know I'd truly be happy and the commute is so worth it!
The crew makes the job not the location, remember that.
What are you interviewing for?
100k in tools and weekly payments to two or three tool men, stores or trucks. Plus the lunch truck :D
Apprentice position at a shop that does everything a mile from my house. From oil changes and tires to full engine rebuilds.

Wreck work for collision shops is where some serious coin is made if your fast and good. Work is everywhere and you will always be in demand.
2016 Escalade. Collapsed the #4 exhaust lifter, pretzeled the pushrod and broke it off.
Not sure where the rest of the pushrod is right now.
I shoved it out back next the the 15 Silverado that collapsed #1 and #7 exhaust lifters.
Lifters are on national backorder.
I've already had 4 cylinder heads off for the same issue since 2020 started.
I've been out of wrenching on grocery getters o_O for a long time
These are the new direct injected engines, the 5.3 is r.p.o. L83 and the 6.2 is L86
I hear bad things about the L83 all the time.
Consider using low mileage used lifters from good running motors that had other issues. For one, their rollers, so matching is a no brainer. Plus you don't run the risk of getting more crap from people selling nos stuff. Just a thought and it will get things out the door now with some piece of mind. Just use newer lifters from 18' and up blocks.

My 97' 5.7Vtec GMC may live forever....approaching 330k.

I love me some Greek food. I married a good cook too. When she doesn't feel like cooking, I get in there and stir the pot too, cause I ain't missing no meals. Lol.

I didn't get to 220# from having just one serving. That's the warmup serving. Gotta get the pump primed. Lol.
Man I wished I weighed 220 again lol.

Wayne @Dub11 did you get it?

:couch:
Get what?

Nope..
Todays victims had 125,000 miles on the truck, 60,000 miles on the Escalade.
I've replaced them under the 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty too.

I have noticed that any time I have an intake off, I've noticed that the lifter manifold bolts are backed out and loose. Usually can remove with my fingers. So, loose bolts, oil from block, into manifold and back to block to lifters, yeah, there's your oil leakage issue..
So....GM was too cheap to put locks or thread locker on the manifold bolts
The new tech makes more power with less fuel but it is not as durable in the long term.
Seem that way so far.
Damn, fun times. Is there a recall on these motors or just a major design flaw? It's almost like the crappy DCT transmissions.

See above
I been hating the medical and insurance industries here lately.

Ugliest Mustang ever
If they think it's rough here
Direct them to sawhawgz
For a warm welcome.

Butch is good people in my book and deserves better too. Cancer can go f@ck itself!

I'm not a regular over there. Kind of like you and build threads. After a long hard day of treework the last thing I want to do is post about it and have 20 "experts" tell me how I did it wrong.
I don't post much about climbing or tree work. Solves that problem.
Yes
Germ warfare, Lysol, Listerine, Dial soap... a vitamin regimen and a little help from the chainsaw gods, you might be okay.
Sleep with a mask, don't touch anything and stay in your shop away from those germy humans!
Your date likes wine and hyballs....interesting. Snappy dresser too. Bet he has soft hands
That stuff tastes like ass.
Comparison-shopping... again?
the citrus ones are the best I’ve found.
Where is she from.... islanders? :tonguecrazy:
