I believe you mean replated, and no I have not yet, but may in the future. This one here has some blemishes that I wasn't too keen on, but with a new AM piston I don't have to worry about the last good original piston I have for now.

there is a few on OPE who has got their cylinder replated.
Probleby 1-2 companies in each country who does such a job, north of 300$ in Norway.

I wouldn't junk it. Maybe talk to @Definitive Dave he might have a connection.

nephew wants to look at a couple of d7 and a 855 loader.
he needs a good excavator with a thumb attachment imho
but we'll look at what he wants today.

Majority of the wear is at the bottom of the cylinder all the way around. The top doesn’t look too bad. Except a small amount of transfer. I don’t own a 1100. Was just wondering if someone could use it? Don’t want to send somebody a paper weight.

I’ve see a few cylinders that looked hazy like that. Almost sandblasted. Hard to tell, but yours didn’t look worn through. Just thinking maybe it was ok to use as is.

The one I am running now the plating is flaking off around the intake port.
