I need to run mine I put a new plug in while ago.
Don't use it much got the big McCullough
We used lose power every storm but not so much they did some trimming. Other than stupid azzhole neighbor knocking down a pole. They find his Azz big he deserved it cost me a day and night.

I read that today. Researching solutions for an off grid cabin. I'm thinking solar with a battery for a couple lights, charge devices. Maybe a coffee pot. Thought that might be cheap enough to leave there and not care if it got stolen in case I wanted to charge a battery or two. Still researching. I've got time.

Some i know run them through inverters
Cleans the power i guess
Eliminates surges etc.
