I and most around here prefer the .325
On 50cc
i cut a lot of hardwood
The lp didn't do as well.

Dads 550 and my jred one are still .325
I really don't like 3/8 on small saws.

I put 3/8 on my 346 and hated it. Switched it back to .325.

Modern .325 chain is great
narrow kerf stuff sucked.

Your 550 takes what is called a "small" rim.
"Standard" is the biggest one that fits a 288, 372, 066, 044...
