Thunder Over Georgia Air Show this coming up wknd, 28th, 29th. If any of you f’rs wanna come, plenty of room here at the house. I can get your asses into restricted areas on the flight line, you’ll see what I deal with every day in the C-17 regimen. We’ll check out the C-5’s, C -130’s, F-15 Strike Eagles as well. I can get ya up close and personal to what we do on this crazy ass flight line. One good thing about us flightline boys...we get the air show four times...Thurs and Friday they run the low ceiling, high ceiling routine. Then Sat and Sunday all the folks get it. Thunderbirds will be here this year...they rotate between the Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels every two years. I prefer the Blue Angels in the F/A-18’s, but the Thunderbirds in those F-16’s kick ass as well. These f’n pilots have balls of steel...and meeting them is crazy good. They’re some bad ass mf’rs...when you fly wing tip to wing tip...two/three feet apart. You got skills when you can do that kinda *s-word...I don’t give a *f-wordk how ya add it or stack it, at that point.

The F-22 Raptors and the F-35 Lightning’s are something to watch. It’s a once in a lifetime thing for most folks. It’s crazy what that thrust vectoring can do. They can literally stand vertical in space...then kick it in, and get gone in seconds. I was a A-6 Intruder/EA-6B Prowler avionics/electrician back in my Jarhead days, that f’n Sky Pig was a bad ass jet, bar none....when the AV-8B Harrier II’s came along...they were bad ass. Been replaced now with F/A -18 single and two-seaters. And the F/A-18 Growlers now doing their *s-wordt...electronic countermeasures, etc.

I miss those days...I wish I could dial back the hands of time and get back into the fight!
