Morning folks. nice 68 heading to 83...a welcome break from the mid/high 90’s for the next few days.

Top Handle Thursday over here. Had to top about five pine trees today...I guess they were blocking the sea views.

That little 3410 is a running m'fer. I love that thing. My backup T425 not so much. It's kind of lack luster, but it won't be for long.

I use my top handles and try to cut them really close. Some come up from the roots. Most all of the trees have a wild trunk and are grafted.

If you don't cut them close, they tear up your mats that you use to catch the olives with.

Oh yeah and bigger. That one is probably a couple hundred years old. Probably was planted during the Ottoman occupation.

Some of them live to be 1000's of years old. They don't show the true size because the limbs are always cut back for harvesting and improving oil production.

Why kind of line is it? If it’s metal you could use two copper wires like they did in the old days to find it. My dad taught me how to do it and I’ve only had to use it once
