Reason I’m saying not sure my wife has been in the hospital for the past week with Covid and no idea what the bills will be. Anybody thinking of selling a healthy 79xx? By healthy I mean I ain’t even close to being a mechanic.

Wait a minute, you don't already have one or two?
I have a nice 7910 I was keeping for myself that I decided to sell to help fund the barn build.
Hope your wife is out soon and fully recovered.
I have a 7900 set up for noodling. Like to set up one for felling and bucking.

Pic, 7900 cyl w 7910IMG_20211222_221937_01.jpg slab sided piston kit was used. New half wrap also. Skf bearings, oem seals, oem fuel line, stihl impulse line as it's thicker and better imo. Husky floppy caps dyed black also.

That would match nicely with my all red 6421. Bringing the wife home tomorrow so in a couple weeks I’ll know how much damage 10 days in the hospital did. I’ll contact you. OEM was the selling point for me but I’ll probably change the caps back to original. Thanks for the heads up Dustin.

Got that on ebay, didn't even know it had a 7910 topend on it when I bought it, was already rebuilt but brake band was locked onnthe clutch drum, customer really wanted a blue one, ended up a great bargain, unfortunately I had already bought a new 7910 topend, so now I have a 7910 and 7900 kits on the shelf, will find something to put them in eventually

Those 79xx top ends will not loose value nor go bad! ;)

I have a NIB NOS 7900 top end that I haven't looked at for about a year or more, but I know I have it if it is ever needed. :)

I’ve only put maybe a tank and a half through it before I dropped a piece of firewood and broke the choke lever off of it. I put a new one on it but haven’t ran it since, but so far its been good. I don’t know how much use it’ll get being that I just got an ms462 for a really good price and I don’t really need two ported 70cc saws.
