Just out of curiosity what does the fruit look like? Are almonds seeds like acorns or the pits of the fruit?

Here you go. There were some still on the trees when I cut them.

There's an outer skin that's green when they grow, but later dries out usually falls off.

If you crack open the seed of any plum, peach, etc., you'll find a similar pit. Most are really bitter, but very healthy.

Almond wood on the trailer. I'm curious about milling this stuff. If I get it done quickly, it may be possible. If I wait, this stuff turns to stone.

Same family as peach, apricot, plum, nectarine, mango and cherry.

That'd make some nice turkey calls.[emoji3]
