HBD! + GFY.

I'd recommend noodling.

the dealer I normally buy parts/projects strip them for screws, its the only models I dont get the option on, dunno what he use them screws for though.
Its another dealer I saw them 235, 435, 440, I picked up 2×353 and a 350 last time.
Think he had a 261C also there, the brick!

sure I am, how could I miss out those 2xx

that is nice done by you Dave.
I may get a few myself, doubt they are worse to build compared against 340/345/350 bottom part.
We are all saw snobs
Most people are perfectly happy with a huskypoulancraftsmanremingtonbluemaxstihlechowhatever clammy saw.
The company's make them because they sale.
Pro saws are probably a small part of overall sales.
That's what my local dealer's tell me
Steels money is from the godaweful priced chain.

Thanks guy's
Nothing interesting happened this day in history
But i did survive jackson general hospital.
They were forced to stop delivering baby's.
It was bad back then.
My nephew has your 028 he loves it
That's all the saw he'll ever need
For his 30 acres.
He's scared of my falling saws lol

Have him save the parts in a box for you after a while, you should be able to build a saw for just the price of the screws. Lol
that sound to be a master plan lol

I dont mind working on a clamshell saw, most of the days they will last.
A buddy of me have cut spruce and firewood with a 345 for 10+ years, she still cut as a champ, but she would probleby failed big time if we put a mityvac on her lol
If I just could found high quality AM seal to them 345's I would like to build more of those saws.
