It went pretty smooth. Upgrading the clutch was a pita though. Nope no trees today. The people are acting pretty flakey. I don't know maybe just the time of year. How are your feet doing John?

You do realize that you're in California, right?

Good evening Steve, yes I am probably addicted with my latest McCulloch 795 project, lol, got some time to try alu welding to a new fuel tank for her, and a new fly-wheel shroud. Welding to 1.5mm thick alu sheet is not easy job to me though!

Keep after it Chy, it will come to you.

I'm not a man with much disposable income. :(

Sorry for the delay.

Let's just say you don't need much disposable income for a Leupy. A friend of mine is the head guy in the mil/leo division. He's able to get some very good deals if you are willing to wait.

Agreed especially on high power rifles were shock is an issue or moisture.i had a cheap scope develop a vacum leak once and fog up. It shortened my hunting trip. Burris makes some nice scopes too.people squak about leopolds prices but they have the best warr. Even if you arnt original owner or no receipt that scope is warr. For life. Who else does that?

I'm a big fan of their stuff, Leupold is becoming a very innovative company and takes great pride in their products.

But I've also had first hand experience with USO and their services department is very good too. I had a scope that the turret was a little "squishy". I was the second owner of it. I called USO, they just needed the S/N and sent me a repair ticket.
I had the scope back within a week and that included the travel from Michigan to the west coast.

I also hear nothing bad about Nightforce's service dept.

Good morning guys. Actually got to sleep in a little bit this morning. Just heard the borough plow truck going up the road so sounds like it's time for me to fire up the tractor and clean up our driveway. Stay safe out there my friends.
