I'd like to see a little higher but that's just me. It can be turned down or replaced if it doesn't work out.
Might try full skirt 266 later
Do you know if this can be done with say a 61 piston to have it go in a 2165?
Never tried
I always went 371/372 cylinders
Somebody must have here though.

The 461 I got from Dallas had a junk one on it, stripped in a certain area, just a matter of time before it puked.

Now the 661, I don't know what went wrong there. Was boring it and just went limp like my noodle. It done broke on me. I'm calling it a factory blem

Wonder what they get for a replacement? I know they're usually quite proud of stuff.

The early 266 were full skirt pistons
In an open port cylinder
Or am i remembering wrong lol

Full skirt with windows. Problem is replacements are full windowed like the 272xp. OEM replacements and Meteor are just like the new 268xp piston, and may even be one in the same. I put a Meteor in my 266 taking out the original full skirt one, livened that saw right up.
