Best of luck and please make yourself move onward and upward, a downward turn at this point could be tragic for the ones you love and still have.

I can imagine. Sorry if I struck a nerve, I was reminded of it driving by that doppelganger truck again today. I have to try and get by there sone day when they are open. I bet is hasn't moved in 6 months at least.

It's seamed and the industry has experienced some blow outs on the seamed fittings. A lot of plants are changing them out.

I'm wif stumpy on this one. In theory, he's right. Unless your frogskin is in the carburetor area behind the partition. Hard to tell exactly where its at from the pics.
Hold your hand over the one on the left while running the saw and see if air is blowing out of the hole or being sucked in. In a perfect world, it may actually be sucking extra air through it, which is helping you.
By only having holes on the right, the air HAS to flow through the fins and exit on the right.
