I had intentions of getting one of those. Hard to find on an impulse buy though. Ammo at the time $ wise was similar to the 250. But a whole lot faster

Silver tags are earlier than black tags. I believe Brian to be correct about not being able to date silver tags, only the black ones. But I'm not really certain

Yes, either will fit and work, AM ones are pretty nice too.

Learned from Sawtroll how to date them before they put dates on them.

In the 70's they hade the date on the silver tag, then with just a date code, then with both then black and forth.

Some yes some no. I can barely keep it straight myself. Any saw that has IPL's separated by date only should be dateable.
