Prairie dogs live in groups in fields. They're related to ground hogs, also called wood chucks. Ground hogs are about 3 times the size of a prairie dog, and live alone or in single families. The one @GCJenks204 got is a ground hog
The most fun in your entire life is going prairie dog hunting. Watching them explode in your scope is beyond words. Farmers used to beg people to come kill em all.

They may be same just location different.
Ours burrow in the ground under machinery or building foundations not out in timber.
When I worked out in SD they called em rock chucks but looks the same.
I don't know what the proper name for them is I guess.

I'm in. Lemme know. We'll start with the 22-250 and gradually work up to the .300 win mag. If we ain't having fun yet we'll throw some .338 ultramag at them. We oughtta be having a good time by then

Groundhogs here you have to hit them solid to kill them.
Golf balls and a .22 are fun we throw them out at the range 50 yds and everyone has a good time.
Try it.
Mow you're grass first.

I've used some of the weed Wacker grommets For saws with the molded grommet on the line. Then you can use straight line.
