For me it's been a wonderful sharing experience (for the most part) showing what I know, while gaining advanced knowledge. Just yesterday I fired up my first fully ported saw. While mild in comparison to professionals work, I was well pleased. My baby steps approach is working out, before this I would just dicker with the ports a little and polish them, not touching the transfers.
So positive people can have good effect, I used to be happy to get a saw to run, now I like to get it to run well. This summer some machine shop tools are to be added and up the process a little bit more.
So if I have to put twenty more people on ignore to continue my journey, so be it. It really is like having your own personal ban hammer. Lol
