She's a bit temperamental but it heats the house and garage pretty well.

I have terrible acid reflux and I'm trying to get off the omeprazole because it's really not great stuff.

My sister's a RN and she said to lay off the caffeine so I'm trying it.

It's a piece of cake compared to some of the other habits I've kicked.

She thinks it's the caffeine? I'd have thought it'd be the acidity if it.

About 15 years ago dad had heart issues, he ended up having to take a very fast taxi ride to the hospital.
The medics started doing their assessment on him and they asked him how much coffee he drinks. He told them 4-6 a day.

They didn't say to much about that until mom told them that 4-6 meant pots and not cups.


That got their attention....

He quit drinking regular coffee cold turkey. Now he drinks about 3 pots of decaf a day.


I love coffee, I'd drink more if it wasn't so expensive. @griffonks got me hooked on good stuff. Whenever he stops buy he drops off about a dozen pounds. If I only had to drink maxwell house or folgers I wouldn't drink coffee.

I had a bad time with acid reflux myself.I stopped putting sugar in my coffee and started adding honey instead.Regular bleached sugar is what messes with me and over time I got better.Not sure if the sugar change did it or it was the colloidal silver that we make might have been a combination of the two.When the acid starts to come on I take a swig of the silver then its gone.I like the sugar in the raw its natural not bleached or whatever the hall the do to it.
