Some rye, turnips, and rape. I know it's kinda late, but I've planted in the middle of October before and had turnip tops 3" high, and deer were everywhere.

Normally I plant somewhere between may and july. But it was my dad's property, who died in Dec, and my (ahem, ahem) "stepmom" and i don't really see eye to eye. It took me until last week to lower my standards enough to talk to her.

I've hunted there since I was 17, and I need to find a new spot. I'm sure she's gonna.sell it in the next couple years.
