Do you have any barb wire?

I bought one of these for my father in law for Christmas a few years back and he loves it.

Nope. All electric/hitensile. I bought some of those spring gates. I don't feel like untangling wire gates next winter when I'm feeding. Next is going to be one of those bale huts.

I hear you on the wire gate handles, they suck. I buried a underground wire for every gate opening I have now.

My next step will be cattle guards. I'm really thinking about building forms and pouring them. There big $$$ to buy.

I've thought about cattle guards for at least the main entrances. I think they'd silt up or fill with leaves, weeds,seeds,feed and so on. And then proceed to stink and need cleaned out periodically. Plus I'm at six paddocks now soon to go to ten. Then five more on the other side of the creek. That's a lot of cattle gaps
